Is CancerEDGE an insurance policy?

No. CancerEDGE is not insurance. It is a membership-based program that provides genomic insights, prevention guidance, and care support. We work in concert with your health care providers.

It complements your existing care. It does not replace insurance or medical decisions made with your provider.

It is important to understand that CancerEDGE is a genomic based precision care membership program designed to INFORM, PREVENT, and CARE — not to replace insurance coverage.

What is CancerEDGE?

CancerEDGE is a genomic based precision care membership program built on three core pillars: INFORM, PREVENT, and CARE. We INFORM members of their personal genetic risks for disease through advanced genomic insights, help PREVENT those risks using modern precision technologies and proactive guidance, and CARE for members with ongoing navigation support and clinical resources to help them live healthier, longer lives.

Enrollment

How do I enroll?

Visit www.canceredge.com or call 844-580-0096. Once enrolled, you will receive a welcome letter, membership ID card, and instructions to request your DNA kit or connect with navigators for guidance.

Your membership becomes active immediately once enrollment is completed.

Enrollment gives you access to a genomic based precision care membership program that is structured to INFORM you of risk, help PREVENT avoidable disease progression where possible, and CARE for you if health challenges arise.

What is the cost?

The membership retail fee is $67 per month. Children are included at no additional cost through age 26, with the exception of DNA analysis. Additionally, lifetime memberships are available for those over age 65. Individuals age 65 to 69 may purchase a lifetime membership for $3,900, those age 70 to 74 may purchase a lifetime membership for $3,500, and those age 75 and above may purchase a lifetime membership for $3,200.

Your membership fee stays the same regardless of how often you use the program. No additional fees will be required for the services offered through the membership.

What states is CancerEDGE available in?

The program is available to residents of all U.S. states except New York.

If you are a resident of New York, enrollment is not currently available.

Who is eligible to join?

Residents of all states except NY are eligible to join. Members should not have had a cancer diagnosis or treatment in the past 24 months.

Dependents age 26 and under are included at no additional cost and may access all of the program features, with the exception of DNA analysis.

Cancellation

Can I cancel my CancerEDGE membership?

Yes. You can cancel your CancerEDGE subscription at any time by submitting a cancellation request to member services.

Do I get a refund if I cancel?

No. Per the Terms & Conditions, no partial refunds are issued for unused portions of the membership period.

How do I cancel?

To cancel your membership or stop automatic renewal, contact Longevity Life Advisors Member Services at service@canceredge.com or via the contact method provided in your membership materials.

How far in advance do I need to cancel to avoid renewal charges?

You will need to submit your cancellation at least 7 days prior to your membership anniversary.

What happens after cancellation?

When your membership ends, your access to CancerEDGE services and programs will end on the cancellation date. You will no longer be eligible for membership benefits unless you re-enroll.

When does cancellation take effect?

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current paid membership period. There are no partial refunds for unused time within that period.

Will I be charged again automatically?

CancerEDGE subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle under the same terms unless you or Longevity Life Advisors cancel the renewal.

DNA Analysis

Do genetics determine everything about my health?

No. Genetics are only one part of the picture. Your age, family history, lifestyle, and other clinical factors also influence risk. Genetic insights are meant to support, not replace, medical care decisions. Sharing information can improve advice and navigation provided.

Do you analyze all my genes?

The analysis sequences over 20,000 genes. Your report includes findings from genes that are currently considered clinically meaningful. As scientific knowledge advances, previously uninterpretable genes may gain relevance.

How are risk scores created?

Some reports combine genetic information with health and lifestyle factors to generate a more personalized estimate of risk. This approach may provide more context than simple genetic analysis alone.

How does the DNA sequencing process work?

After you enroll, you request a DNA kit. Once received, you collect a saliva sample at home and return it using the prepaid packaging.

Results will be available in your secure portal once analysis is complete. You can also choose to schedule time with a licensed genetic counselor to help understand the results. DNA sequencing is optional and your membership will provide all the other care benefits when needed.

How is this different from other DNA tests?

The genomic analysis provides information on clinically important and potentially actionable inherited genomic data, reviewed by certified genetics professionals.

Unlike recreational DNA tests, this membership includes information and prevention guidance to help you understand findings, your risks and potential actions, as well as emerging research relevant to you over time.

How long does it take to receive results?

Most results are available within approximately 4–6 weeks after your sample is received by the laboratory.

Is there a full list of genes included?

The analysis reports on a curated set of genes associated with hereditary cancer and cardiovascular conditions, including both single-gene and polygenic risk insights.

What conditions may be included?

Depending on your membership and selections, your analysis may include insights related to:

  • Certain hereditary cancers
  • Cardiovascular conditions
  • Medication response (pharmacogenomics)
  • Additional clinically actionable conditions

This is important to understand. Your information will evolve as science advances without having to take a new swab sample.

What is medication response?

Medication response looks at how your genetics may influence how your body processes certain medications. These insights may help inform discussions with your healthcare provider about medication choices or dosing.

These reports are informational and not prescriptive.

What is the difference between single-gene risk and polygenic risk?

Single-gene analysis looks for inherited changes that strongly increase risk for certain conditions.

Polygenic risk combines many small genetic factors to estimate risk for more common conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancers.

Both types of insights are included to provide a more complete view of your health.

What type of genetic analysis is performed?

Your DNA analysis uses whole-genome sequencing, which reads your genetic information once and allows new health insights to be generated over time without needing additional samples. Whole genome sequencing means your entire coding genome is analyzed. Genetic science is evolving, and not every possible condition can be identified.

Results

Should my family members consider sequencing?

Some genetic findings may be relevant to close relatives. If a result suggests inherited risk, family members may wish to discuss sequencing with their healthcare provider or a genetic counselor. If requested, we can assist in informing and managing family members.

What does a negative result mean?

A negative result means no disease-causing variants were identified in the genes analyzed.

It does not eliminate all risk. Personal, lifestyle, and environmental factors still play an important role. You should continue routine medical screening recommended by your provider.

What does a positive result mean?

A positive result means a genetic change associated with increased risk was identified.

In many cases, it does not mean you will definitely develop a condition. Your healthcare provider can help interpret the finding and discuss next steps.

Services

Does CancerEDGE guarantee trial placement?

No. Trial eligibility is determined by strict clinical criteria and the study sponsor. CancerEDGE facilitates awareness and coordination, but enrollment decisions are made by the trial investigators and the member’s physician.

Does CancerEDGE help members find clinical trials?

Yes. For eligible members facing cancer or certain cardiovascular conditions, CancerEDGE nurse navigators can help identify and review relevant clinical trial opportunities.

Our team evaluates publicly available trial databases, emerging research, and clinical criteria to help members and their physicians explore appropriate options.

Participation decisions are always made by the member and their treating physician. Trial eligibility and enrollment are determined by the study sponsor.

We do not enroll members directly, but we help simplify what is often a complex and overwhelming process.

Does CancerEDGE help with access to advanced cancer diagnostics?

Yes. When clinically appropriate, CancerEDGE will facilitate access to technologies such as:

  • Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP)
  • Minimal Residual Disease (MRD)
  • Precision oncology insights and clinical guidance

These tools may provide deeper visibility into tumor biology, treatment options, and recurrence monitoring. Availability depends on eligibility and clinical circumstances.

Does CancerEDGE pay for these services?

CancerEDGE helps eligible members obtain advanced diagnostics and clinical services when medically appropriate and covered under program guidelines.

What is a navigator, and how do they support me?

A navigator is a trained professional who provides care navigation guidance if you receive a diagnosis in the future.

Your navigator will help you understand what your personal information means, explore potential options, and support discussions with your health care provider.

What makes CancerEDGE different from other support programs?

CancerEDGE is a genomic based precision care membership program guided by three pillars: INFORM, PREVENT, and CARE. We INFORM members through whole-genome insights and clinically curated reporting. We help PREVENT risk progression through proactive monitoring and advanced diagnostic technologies. And we CARE for members by providing personal navigation and precision support when it matters most.

CancerEDGE goes beyond education and navigation. For eligible members facing a cancer diagnosis or cardiovascular disease, we facilitate access to advanced diagnostic technologies including comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP) and minimal residual disease (MRD) analysis when clinically appropriate.

These technologies can help physicians make more informed treatment and monitoring decisions. In certain cases, CancerEDGE may help coordinate, facilitate, or support access to these services for qualified members.

Our goal is simple: help members access modern precision tools not just traditional care pathways.

What support is available if I receive a diagnosis in the future?

If a diagnosis occurs, our CARE pillar becomes especially important. While the program begins by helping INFORM you of inherited risks and supporting PREVENTION strategies, it is also designed to CARE for members during high-risk moments through navigation and precision technology support.

Your membership focuses on navigation and support if a diagnosis occurs in the future. This may include healthcare navigation guidance (access to skilled nurse navigators), recommendations for additional genomic analysis, and access to additional resources that may be available within the program or through your health insurance covered benefits.

Availability and costs may vary based on your insurance coverage and program terms.

If recommended genomic analysis coverage is denied by your insurance, CancerEDGE will attempt to cover certain costs for eligible members according to program terms.

Why is access to novel diagnostics important?

Modern medicine increasingly relies on precision data to guide treatment decisions. Advanced diagnostics such as genomic profiling and MRD analysis can provide insights that traditional approaches may not capture.

CancerEDGE was built on the belief that members should not face life-threatening disease with outdated information or limited access to modern tools.

Why is clinical trial access important?

Clinical trials can provide access to emerging therapies that are not yet widely available. For some patients, they may offer additional treatment pathways beyond standard care.

CancerEDGE was designed to ensure members are informed about all appropriate options, including research-based opportunities, when facing serious disease.

Cost Awareness

Doesn’t health insurance cover most of this?

Health insurance and Medicare may cover many services, but members are often still responsible for deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and non-medical expenses.

Lost wages, travel, caregiving needs, and household adjustments are typically not covered by insurance. As a result, many families still experience meaningful financial strain even with good health insurance coverage.

How can early awareness help reduce financial strain?

How expensive can cancer care be?

Cancer treatment costs vary widely, but they may include diagnostics, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, medications, specialist visits, and ongoing monitoring.

For many families, total costs can reach tens of thousands of dollars or more over the course of treatment, even with insurance coverage. Out-of-pocket expenses such as deductibles, travel, lodging, childcare, and time away from work can add up quickly.

These costs often arrive at the same time families are already coping with the emotional weight of a diagnosis.

What is “financial toxicity”?

“Financial toxicity” is a term used in healthcare to describe the financial stress and hardship that can come with medical care.

Even with insurance, the cost of deductibles, copays, medications, and lost income can create lasting strain. For many families, the financial impact of illness can feel overwhelming and may affect savings, retirement plans, or everyday expenses.

Privacy And Quality

Does CancerEDGE share member data?

No. CancerEDGE operates independently with respect to genetic and health data.

There is no sharing of individual genomic results, medical information, or analysis data.

Does the analysis detect every possible health risk?

No. No genetic analysis can detect all possible conditions or variants. Some risks may not be included or may not yet be identified by current science. Genetic analysis should complement, not replace, routine medical care.

How is my data protected?

Your information is stored in secure, HIPAA-compliant systems using industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards.

Access is restricted to authorized personnel and monitored to protect confidentiality and integrity.

How is my information used and who may have access to it?

Your information is used only to:

  • Perform laboratory analysis
  • Generate your clinical report
  • Support clinical guidance or navigation services

Access is limited to:

  • The CLIA-certified laboratory performing the analysis
  • Licensed healthcare professionals involved in interpretation or support
  • Authorized CancerEDGE clinical personnel providing services

Your data is not sold, shared for marketing, or provided to insurance carriers.

Is this FDA-approved?

These are laboratory-developed tests (LDTs) and are not cleared or approved by the FDA. Results should be interpreted in consultation with a trained and licensed healthcare professional.

What accreditations do your partner labs have?

All genetic analysis included in the optional DNA sequencing is performed in CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited laboratories.

These accreditations support high standards for laboratory processing, quality control, and data review integrity.

Ongoing Engagement

How often are reports updated?

As new research becomes available, additional reports or updates will be added to your member portal. You can review updates with a navigator or genetic counselor.

Ongoing updates reflect our INFORM pillar, while navigator support ensures those updates are integrated into a PREVENTION and CARE strategy tailored to you.
